Game 1 of the series between the Raptors and 76ers is shown on Saturday at 6 p.m. in RDS and Sportish.
In full preparation for the series between the Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics, Kevin Durand admitted that he did not expect to see Ben Simmons join the team in the next games.
“KD” stated that he wants his new teammate to devote all the time he needs to return to full fitness and be able to help the Nets.
Simmons, who was acquired last February in the trade that sent James Harden to Philadelphia, has not played any games this season due to a back injury.
The 25-year-old point guard has not yet received the green light from the doctors to train with his teammates.
According to several American media, Simmons would aim to return against the Celtics. However, the Australian will have to participate in at least one training session with the team in order to be able to return.
After beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-108 in the seventh place playoffs in the East, the Nets will be in Boston on Sunday to face the Celtics in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
