Andrea Stojakovic, son of Peja Stojakovic, played high school in the USA, shoots like his former NBA and PAOK player father and already has nominations from more than 10 NCAA colleges. What about the national edition he can choose?

His name is Andrei Stojakovic (16 years, 2.01 meters). He is the son of Petza Stojakovic (3x All Star and legend of PAOK) and Aleka Kamila. And – apparently – he has inherited his father’s talent in basketball.

Andrei Stojakovic took part in an Adidas tournament in the USA and was one of the players who stood out for his good size and contact with the basket. He’s right-handed and the way he shoots, putting the ball a little further to the left than usual, reminds him of his father. According to the US, he is considered one of the top 100 talents in the country and has more than 10 nominations from NCAA colleges.

According to what has already become known, the following colleges, among others, have submitted proposals to Peja’s son: Kansas, Connecticut, Indiana, Tennessee, Washington State, Minnesota, Stanford, Santa Barbara, St. Mary, Louise, Louise Polly, USC.

Stojakovic attended and graduated from Jesuit High School in Sacramento, where the whole family has lived for several years. This (junior) season he’s averaged 25.3 points and 9.3 rebounds with 40% on three points. He has one more season in high school (2022-23) as his freshman year of college — whatever it may be — will come in the 2023-24 season.

As a reminder, Stojakovic hasn’t made a decision on which national team he will join yet. Having a Serbian father and Greek mother gives him the right to fight with either Serbia or Greece colors with the possibility of wearing the US jersey as he lives on the other side of the Atlantic.
