33-year-old star guard of Portland Trail Blazers Jrue Holiday He will be transferred to the Boston Celtics as a result of the trade between the teams.
The Celtics sent guard Malcolm Brogdon, center Robert Williams and two first-round picks in 2024 and 2029 to the Trail Blazers for the holidays, according to The Athletic’s insider Shems Charania.
As previously reported, Holiday joined Portland’s roster as a result of Damian Lillard’s high-profile trade to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Jrue Holiday played in 67 games for Milwaukee last season and averaged 19.3 points, 7.4 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game. The point guard became the NBA champion in 2021.
