Curry feels uncomfortable in the left thigh
Steph Curry injured his left thigh in the Warriors game against the Mavericks, but was reassuring and left open the possibility of missing Golden State’s next game.
The Warriors suffered a 99-82 loss to the Mavericks in Dallas, but after the game all thoughts turned to Steve Carey as the team star was obviously struggling with a pain in his left thigh. It turns out that in the end there is no (major) concern.
Carrie admitted after the fight that he felt uncomfortable in his left thigh, with Steve Kerr describing the injury as a “bruise”, which was likely due to an All Star Guard knee. Even so, there’s a very good chance that Carrie won’t face the Pelicans in the next Warriors game to rest.
For the record, Curry finished the game with 14 points with 5/24 shots (1/9 threesome), only a few days after only 9 points with 3/17 shots he scored in the 115-108 victory over the Heat, in his first ” single-digit “night then after 97 consecutive games with a double-digit score. According to ESPN, his 8/41 total (19.5%) was his worst record in consecutive games in his NBA career.
