In stoppage time, the champion Nuggets easily defeated the second-place Suns
The champion Nuggets took the floor for the first time in this year’s preseason and easily won 115-107 against the Suns, who played without their stars.
The 2023/24 preseason has officially begun for the Nuggets. The champions opened the curtain on their friendly games against the Suns – without Durant, Booker, Bill – and prevailed relatively easily with 115-107 without making any great effort.
James Nagy with 21 points, Julian Strother with 20 points and Reggie Jackson with 14 points led the Nuggets, who scored Jamal Murray 12 points and Nikola Jokic 12 points, while the team’s two stars struggled starting in the 18th minute. The injured Michael Porter did not play.
