Devin Booker is doubtful for Games 3 and 4 of the Suns-Pelicans series, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Suns are still waiting for the result of his MRI scan.

Booker had to leave Tuesday’s meeting at 3 p.m.and fourth, due to injury to the tendon in the right thigh. This is the second time this year that the Sun star has been injured in the same spot.

“We have already played without Booker, there is a player who will stand in his place. “We do this all year round,” Suns coach Monty Williams said after Tuesday’s game.

The Suns have eight wins and six losses in the absence of Booker this year.

The Suns dropped the number two game against the Pelicans. New Orleans tied the game in one game. Before his injury, Booker had 31 points and the Suns were going for the win.

The next game in the series is on April 22 in New Orleans.

The Pelicans won 125-114, tying the series with one win per team.

A big favorite, the Suns are trying to return to the NBA Finals, after the failure in the hands of the Bucks last year.

Booker finished 12th in the league scoring in the regular season, averaging 26.8 points per game. On Tuesday he gave 31 points, all in the first half.
