The first count of the fans’ votes for the NBA All-Star Game 2022 puts Giannis Antitokoumbo in third place, behind Steph Curry and Kevin Durand.
Less than a month and a half before the 2022 NBA All-Star Game, the NBA presented the first picture / fan vote count for the big party that will be held in Cleveland this year.
A process that began since Christmas and Giannis Antitokoumbo has once again proven himself to be one of the most popular NBA athletes. Specifically, based on the first numbers announced, Greek Freak is in third place and already has 2,145,835 votes. He is only behind Steph Curry (1st with 2,584,623) and Kevin Durand (2nd with 2,360,435).
The quartet closes with LeBron James who has collected 2,018,725 votes to close the club of players who have so far exceeded 2 million votes.
From then on, DeMar DeRozan is at the top, who is having a great season with the Chicago Bulls this year. On the flip side, no other Milwaukee Bucks player is in the top ten in girth or racket. NBA fans give 267,929 votes to Kyrie Irving, who played for the first time this season just a few hours ago, but also 367,743 to Clay Thompson (4th in the West), despite not having played this year.
