NEW YORK – The Basketball Without Borders program will be held in Mexico from May 16 to 19, the NBA and FIBA ​​announced on Friday.

The event will take place at La Loma Centro Deportivo, the headquarters of the NBA Academy in Latin America, in San Luis Potosi.

It will be the 11th Basketball Without Borders of America.

The program will bring together over 60 of the top high school boys and girls from Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.

They will learn from current and former NBA and FIBA ​​players, legends and coaches, in addition to competing with their peers.

There will also be workshops on broader life skills, as well as others on leadership and community involvement.

BWB was part of the careers of Pascal Siakam (Raptors) and Joel Embiid (Sixers), as well as Canadians Luguentz Dort (Thunder), Jamal Murray (Nuggets) and RJ Barrett (Knicks), among many others.

The NBA and FIBA ​​have held 62 such camps in 30 countries since 2001.
