To J. Morand the Most Improved Player of the Season award
The NBA has announced that Ja Morand has been named Most Improved for the 2021-22 season. Second in the voting is Dejude Murray from the Spurs, third is Darius Garland from the Cavaliers.
J. Morand of the Grizzlies is the NBA’s “Most Improved Player” of the 2021-22 season. The Grizzlies star defeated Spurs’ Dejude Murray (2nd) and Cavaliers’ Darius Garland (3rd) to become the first player in history to win the award, having previously been named Rookie of the Year.
This season, Morand averaged 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.2 steals with 34.4% three-pointers in 33 minutes, skyrocketing his tally from last year , when he averaged 19.1 points, 4 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 0.9 assists 30.3% on three-pointers in 33 minutes of attendance.
