On the verge of dismissal, the Denver Nuggets collected 37 points from Nikola Jokic to avoid the scan, winning 126-121 over the Golden State Warriors in the 4th game.

Jokic did not want his season to end with a home scan. He led the team in points, rebounds (8) and assists (6) to give the Nuggets their first win in a row.

Monte Morris and Aaron Gordon got their hands dirty with 24 and 21 points respectively. Morris also made five of his seven three-pointers.

The two teams drew 121-121 with less than a minute to go. Morris fired a two-pointer to put the Nuggets ahead for good.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson had excellent meetings with 33 and 32 points. The Splash Brothers combined their efforts to land ten shots from downtown. After three incredible first games with 30, 29 and 27 points, Jordan Poole came down to earth with 11 points.

Golden State will have the opportunity to advance to the next round at home on Tuesday night in the 5th game.

Pelicans surprise and dominate the Suns

The New Orleans Pelicans played an incredible game, beating the Phoenix Suns 118-103. The Pels tie the series 2-2 against the best team in the NBA.

Despite the 28 wins that separated the two teams in the regular season, the Pelicans are having a hard time giving the Suns. Phoenix, however, has to cope without Devin Booker, who is expected to miss the rest of the series due to a leg injury.

The duo Brandon Ingram-Jonas Valanciunas led the Pelicans to victory with 30 and 26 points. CJ McCollum also did well with 18 points.

The Pelicans support players brought a lot of energy to the team. Herb Jones blocked three shots and the young Jose Alvarado did an effective job against Chris Paul in defense.

Speaking of Paul, after an amazing start to the series with an average of 25 points and 12.7 assists per game, he could not repeat his achievements.

The veteran scored just four points and scored just 25% of his shots. Paul could not make a three-point shot or a free kick. These four statistics are the worst of his career in a single playoff game.

Both teams will return to Phoenix for the 5th match, which will take place on Tuesday.
