Clippers upbeat about Leonard, his possible return for the season
There is optimism in the ranks of the Clippers that Kwai Leonard’s return can take place this season as the news of his recovery from his cruciate ligament rupture is positive.
The Clippers were hoping that Quay Leonard would return to the stage in March, with that scenario now visible and optimistic for the Los Angeles team. The unfortunate all-star striker who tore a partial cruciate ligament in his left knee in the semifinals of the Western Conference against Jazz 2021, seems to be doing extremely well in his treatments and now the option is open to buff the Clippers this season, so American journalist Chris Haynes from Yahoo Sports.
Leonardn has gained momentum in the past few weeks, he’s looking stronger day by day and it’s not unlikely that he’ll play for the Los Angeles team this season. The Clippers are 19-19 of the season and his absence from the starting XI is more than obvious.
We remind you that this off-season Leonard signed a contract with the Clippers worth $ 176.3 million while Paul George is also out with an elbow injury.
