The 2022/23 EuroLeague MVP was outstanding, finishing the game with 11 points on 1/1 2-point shots, 3/5 3-point shots, 2 rebounds and +7 in the +/- system in 17 minutes of play, a performance that… gave him the opportunity to experience his first “Light the Beam” but also to hear Mike Brown idolize him after the match.
Vezhenkov was the first big man to come off the bench and onto the floor – replacing the negative Harrison Barnes – he coexisted with at least one of Sabonis or Fox for a long time and showed what he has to offer in Sacramento, even scoring that 11 Points from him without dribbling!
