Shock and awe in Toronto, Bucks explode with Lillard and Beasley on night Antetokounmpo is out
Epic performance by the Bucks in Toronto, defeating the Raptors 128-112 thanks to 67 points compiled by Damian Lillard and Malik Beasley. Giannis Antetokounmpo is out with a calf problem.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is out with a right calf problem, Jae Crowder will be in the box for a while, but the Bucks were magical in Toronto early Thursday (11/16). They defeated the Raptors 128-112, in a game where the difference reached 33 points thanks to great performances from Damian Lillard and Malik Beasley.
Milwaukee moved to 7-4 (5-1 home and 2-3 away) on the night the Greek Freak lost its first game of the season. Lillard was Portland’s Lillard (37 points, 5/8 2-pointers, 4/10 3-pointers, 15/16 shots, 4 rebounds, 13 assists, 2 steals), Beasley did things and wonders on the execution side (30 points, 3 /3 2-points, 8/11 3-points) and the night turned into a walk.
Rookie Andre Jackson took Antetokounmpo’s place in the starting five, Brook Lopez hit a crazy triple-double (10 points, 8 rebounds, 7 blocks), Pat Connaughton and Bobby Portis were the first changes, with Adrian Griffin watching the game a little. .. worried, a little heavy, a little disappointed, maybe because the season didn’t start well.
The Raptors fell to 5-6 (3-3 home and 2-3 away), with youngster Scotty Barnes being great, but from there Pascal Siakam – Dennis Schroeder was mediocrity. Darko Rajakovic was without OJ Anunoby and Gary Trent, the Toronto team shot poorly and suffered a fair defeat that could have been even worse.

The Bucks’ next opponent is the Charlotte Hornets on the road (early Saturday, November 18, 2 a.m.) in the in-season tournament.
