Sacramento’s game against New Orleans marred by tragedy in the stands
During the 1/4 finals of the National Basketball Association in-season tournament played between Sacramento and the New Orleans Pelicans (117:127), one of the fans in the stands needed urgent assistance. Unfortunately, the doctors who came could not save the man.
It was stated that the deceased was a man in his 30s. Medical staff fought for his life, but he was pronounced dead 20 minutes later.
“A spectator experienced a medical emergency during the first quarter of the Kings-Pelicans game. The ambulance responded immediately and performed CPR. Unfortunately, these efforts failed and the fan passed away. Our organization extends its deepest condolences to the spectator’s family and loved ones,” the Sacramento Kings club said in a statement.
It was previously reported that the best players of the NBA were determined according to the results of October and November.
