No one stops the Los Angeles Clippers, not even Quebecer Bennedict Mathurin. Mathurin’s career-best offensive performance wasn’t enough for the Indiana Pacers to beat Los Angeles on Monday night.

Thanks to the outstanding performances of stars James Harden, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the Clippers crushed the Pacers with a score of 151-127. The Clippers have now won each of their last eight games.

Maturin finished the game with a career-high 34 points. Quebecer thus exceeded the 32 points he had scored in the seventh game of his career.

Maturin added six rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals during the game. Tyrese Haliburton was limited to eight points for the Pacers, but had 11 assists.

Harden was the most productive of the Clippers’ three stars with 35 points and 9 assists. It is also the first time this season that he crosses the 30-point mark in a game. Harden made 8 of 11 attempts from downtown.

George did well with his 27 points, while Leonard contributed 28 points. The former Raptor has been having some great moments lately, averaging 32.8 points over the past six games while shooting 65 percent.

After a relatively even first quarter, the Clippers took off in the second quarter scoring 12 more points than their Pacers.

The Clippers will look to continue their success on Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks, while the Pacers will meet the Charlotte Hornets.
