Terrible Bulls beat Philadelphia, important wins for Wolves and Cavaliers

The outstanding Bulls shocked the Sixers in Philadelphia, trusting in their defense to win 108-104. The Timberwolves overtook Miami and the Cavaliers overtook Houston, winning for the Thunder, Raptors and Jazz.

The Bulls have flipped the switch since losing LaVine to injury. And they proved that once and for all in Philadelphia, where they defeated the Sixers 104-108 in their most important win of the year.

The impressive Kobe White led the way with 24 points, Nikola Vucevic added 23 points and DeMar DeRozan 15 points – and the shots that defined the final result.

For the Sixers, who ended a six-game winning streak, Joel Embiid was phenomenal with 40 points and 14 rebounds, with Tyrese Maxey contributing 29 points, but no teammate scored more than 8 points.

Heat – Timberwolves 108-112

The Timberwolves are a different team this year. Minnesota has high goals, which it confirmed in Miami, where it showed character, coming back from -17 to ultimately win 108-112 and improve its record to 20-5 (versus the Heat’s 15-12).

Anthony Edwards led the way with 32 points, Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 points and Naz Reed 15 points for a Minnesota team that allowed just 42 points in the second half.

For the Heat, Tyler Hero had 25 points and Bam Adebayo had 22 points, while Jimmy Butler had 15 points.

Cavaliers – Rockets 135-130

The Cavaliers – without Garland and Mobley – experienced everything against the Rockets. But in the end they managed to get an important victory with 135-130 in overtime and improve their record to 15-12.

Donovan Mitchell’s 37 points were the winner, while Sam Merrill added 19 points and Max Struss 17 points.

For the Rockets, Fred VanVleet had 27 points and 17 assists, Alperen Sengun had 24 points and Dillon Brooks had 16 points.

Hawks – Pistons 130-124

The Hawks have had a lot of ups and downs this year. Still, they at least managed to avoid the humiliation of a home loss to the Pistons as they beat Detroit, 130-124, who are now on a 24-game losing streak.

Trae Young led the way with 31 points and 15 assists, while Sadiq Bey added 21 points, Dejude Murray 20 points and Clint Capela added 17 points and 15 rebounds.

For the Pistons, Cade Cunningham was great with 43 points, Bojan Bogdanovic added 25 points and Marvin Bagley 17 points.

THE DODECALEPTA: 38-25, 61-52, 96-84, 130-124

Thunder – Grizzlies 116-97

Spray, wipe, done. The Thunder did everything they wanted against the disappointing Grizzlies, even getting to +31 and ultimately taking the win 116-97, improving their record to 17-8 compared to 6-19 in Memphis, which they relegated Ja Morad will be in the squad for the next game.

Cy Gilgeous-Alexander led the winners for another game with 30 points, while Chet Holmgren added 17 points and Josh Giddy 16 points.

For the Grizzlies, Zaire Williams had 19 points and Desmond Bane had 17 points.

Raptors-Hornets 114-99

The Raptors were in trouble because of the Hornets – without Ball, Bridges, Hayward, Williams. However, a 35-18 deficit in the fourth quarter proved life-saving, allowing Toronto to ultimately claim a 114-99 victory.

Pascal Siakam was the winners’ leading scorer with 27 points, while Scotty Barnes contributed 22 points and 17 rebounds and Gary Trent added 22 points and 10 rebounds.

For the Hornets, Terry Rozier had 22 points and PJ Washington had 15 points.

THE DODECALEPTA: 19-27, 48-52, 79-81, 114-99

Jazz – Nets 125-108

The Jazz did what they had to do against the unpredictable Nets and fired up the offense to earn a 125-108 victory, riding on a 71-49 lead in the second half.

Collin Sexton and Tyler Horton-Tucker each had 27 points for the winners, while Lauri Markkanen added 20 points.

For the Nets, Cam Thomas had 32 points and Spencer Dinwiddie had 17 points and 11 assists.
