The friends of the Knicks cheered on Randle, the mood for the All Star striker is getting worse

The fight Julius Randle opened with the Knicks friends after the gesture he made them a few nights ago continued as the New Yorkers congratulated the team’s star in the game against the Spurs.

Julius Randle decided to put up with the wrong audience when he “thumbs down” the Friends of the Knicks in the game against the Celtics, then declared that he did it to “pop”, which the NBA fined led. He found that out badly in the game against Spurs (111: 96 win for the Knicks).

At the first home game after the well-known gesture and the statements he made – after an away game against the Celtics – Randle heard the Knicks cheering him on warmly at the introduction of the teams. This was just the beginning though as his poor performance afterwards (2 points with 1/7 shots, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 mistakes) made matters worse.

At one point or another Randle’s false shots and mistakes brought murmurs to the podium and some shouting, at other times the slogan “Randl sucks” was heard while several other teammates rhythmically called out Obi Topin’s name – the one usually from the bench comes and lets him breathe a sigh of relief.

Either way, with the Knicks having the familiar ups and downs in their performance and Randle being a shadow of himself this year, things aren’t exactly ideal. And there are only two ways to change that: 1. Randle to bring his performance to last year’s level. 2. To be granted by exchange. It remains to be seen whether both will happen.
