Vembanyama achieved significant success in the Atlanta match
San Antonio Spurs star center Victor Vembanyama He became the third basketball player in NBA history to block shots in 100 consecutive games.
The jubilee of the French star was the match against the Atlanta Hawks in the regular season (126:98), where he recorded 26 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks in 21 minutes on the field.
Vembanyama became the third player to record at least one blocked shot in 100 consecutive matches since the 1973/74 season when such statistics were kept. Previously, this feat was achieved by Dikemba Mutombo (116 matches total) and Patrick Ewing (145 matches).
