LeBron says he ended his record streak with 10+ points
Los Angeles Lakers player LeBron James He scored 8 points against the Toronto Raptors, breaking an 18-year streak of 1,297 games in which he scored 10+ points.
After the game, LeBron commented on his decision to pass the ball to Hachimura in the final seconds of the game instead of deciding the outcome of the game himself:
“Always make the right choice, that’s my motto, that’s how I was taught to play and that’s how I’ve played my whole career. There’s no room for doubt there. When Reeves made the double mark and the ball came to me, I knew it was a numbers game. We had a three-on-four advantage and I tried to get the ball right and on time.”
When asked if he had any emotions about the end of the series, LeBron smiled:
“Nothing. We won.”
You have been with me for eight years, follow my career, I always make the right choice. It is automatic; win, lose or draw. Make the right choice and the basketball gods will always give it back to you. “Win or lose, that’s the way I was raised and that’s the way I’ll always play.”
