NBA: San Antonio makes comeback with New York, Denver beats Toronto
Nine games of the NBA regular season took place on the night between December 31st and January 1st.
“San Antonio” defeated “New York” at home with a spectacular comeback.

Nuggets started the match better, winning the first quarter by 9 points at 32:23. Maintaining its superiority in the second 12 minutes, the guest team entered the long half with the same score of +9 – 63:54. At the beginning of the third quarter, Toronto made a 14:1 move to take a 68:64 lead. After that, the game was balanced and neither team allowed their opponent to take the lead. Therefore, the fate of the winner was decided in the last minute of the meeting. 15 seconds before the buzzer, Ingram hit a two-pointer to cut the Raptors’ lead to 1 point, which Murray immediately responded with a two-pointer that the home team failed to convert into a three-pointer to tie the score. The result is 106:103 in favor of Denver.
Barnes recorded a triple-double with 20 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists for Toronto. The most productive name in Denver’s eight-man rotation was Watson, who scored 24 points.
