Wade: “People will forget Jordan like we forget Abdul-Jabbar”
Dwayne Wade made an interesting statement when he said that over the years, people would eventually forget Michael Jordan, just as his own generation forgot Karim Abdul-Jabbar.
The debate about the greatest player of all time is endless. So does Dwayne Wade, who put things on an interesting footing with an attitude, saying, “Eventually, people will forget about Michael Jordan.
Of course, Wade doesn’t mean people won’t remember Jordan, although at some point in the long run, the next few generations will stop appreciating the greatness of “Air” after a new player comes out to impress them. And he had a clear example of that.
“Everyone throws up some names. There will be other players in the future” Wade first explained, adding meaningfully, “The game continues to evolve. So we’ll continue to see things we’ve never seen before, and those who will watch will be younger and younger.
As the years go by and the generations change, they will eventually forget Michael Jordan. “Since we forgot Karim Abdul-Jabbar.”
