Simmons stock market stagnation
A new meeting took place between his manager Rich Paul and Sixers President Daryl Morey on the subject of Ben Simmons exchange, with discussions once again ending in deadlock.
As the deadline for the exchange to be completed is approaching (the deadline is February 10th), the Ben Simmons exchange is still not complete. The Australian’s manager and the Sixers’ president had a new meeting, ESPN reports, but talks again ended in deadlock.
Simmons appears unrepentant in his decisions and has no intention of joining the Sixers at a time when the team is looking for the best possible deal to complete his swap. In fact, as the team’s president clarified upon the appointment, Simmons will only be swapped out if a team is determined to be poised to capture the title.
Of course, swapping for the Sixers requires a strong swap, but the case has stalled and no progress has been made so far.
