Lindel Wigginton was acquired by the Milwaukee Bucks
Substitution in the second two-way contract for the Bucks, which Javode Smart released in favor of the Canadian Lindel Wigington (23, 1.85).
Javode Smart (22, 1.93) wasn’t what the Bucks needed (2.4 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists per 12.3 minutes in 13 games) as their peripheral line is full but not the keeper the point position.
With Jro Holliday – George Hill out of action for the past few days, the gap in the ace was significant. Because of that, in Milwaukee, they decided to release Smart to award the second two-way contract (the first goes to Sandro Mamukelasvili) to Lindel Wigginton, a 23-year-old, 1.85 basketball player who played from Iowa State in 2019 to 2017 . He went through the Ironi Nes Ziona in Israel in 2020 and Canada before wearing the jersey of their affiliate team Wisconsin Heard.
A notable goalscorer with a reliable rim shot, Wigington is more of a goalkeeper than a playmaker, creator. Hailing from Halifax, Canada, he helped his country’s K19 national team win the gold medal at the 2017 World Championships in Egypt.
