NBA, Golden State Warriors: James Wiseman underwent another knee operation
James Wiseman has been out of action for nine months, Athletic explains, as the young, tall Golden State Warriors underwent another operation in December.
It’s been nine months since James Wiseman injured his right knee, but the 21-year-old has never worn the Golden State Warriors jersey again.
The return to competition was expected in December, but that never happened, with Athletic explaining why. The 2020 NBA draft No. 2 had to go back to the operating room to have his operated knee cleaned to remove the fluid in it.
Of course, the schedule set by the Warriors folks changed dramatically, and Steve Kerr had to wait a few more weeks before adding James Wiseman to his rotation schedules.
The explosive tall made a great impression last year with 11.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per 22 minutes of play as a rookie.
