NBA, Booker on Coby Bryant comparison: “It inspires me, but I’m not”
Devin Booker took a stand and responded to those who compare him to Coby Bryant, saying he inspires him but he’s not him.
Many people have participated in the process of comparing Devin Booker to Coby Bryant via social media, but the Sun star wanted to get things straight and in his statements after the game with the Pacers, he characteristically stated that he wasn’t Coby at all, and so was he there is no question of comparison.
In fact, the Phoenix team’s scorer indicated that he was inspired by Cobby and the mamba mentality, but clarified that he wasn’t Cobby.
“To close this issue. I’ve always had fun and enjoyed social media, I read the good things written about me but I don’t take them upon myself. The only problem I have is people keep comparing me to Coby Bryant. I told them in the playoffs stop bringing mamba mentality.” I’m inspired by Coby Bryant and Mamba mentality, but I’m not. And people keep sitting there screaming ‘Mamba mentality “‘out of mama’s house. I’ll leave you with that”.
Remember that Devin Booker has often referred to Coby Bryant in the past and has clearly stated that he is his idol and that he draws inspiration from him every day.
