New extension in George’s return, except for a few more weeks
Paul George is still suffering from a right elbow problem and the Clippers announce his return to the floor will be postponed by a few weeks.
Paul George has yet to recover from his right elbow injury (in the hand that shoots) and his return to action has been extended by the Clippers.
The team’s star will remain until December 22 with the original plan calling for a month-long absence. However, the course of his recovery has not been desirable and he is expected to be out for a few more weeks to rest.
This season, George averaged 24.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2 steals in 36 minutes. While he was healthy, the Clippers were 17-15. Since then they have 5 wins in 13 games, with the result that their tally drops to 22-23 and they are 9th in the west.
