Ebid scored the second-fastest 50ara in NBA history
It took Joel Ebid just 27 minutes and 3 seconds to score 50 points against the Magic in the Sixers’ 123-110 win, the second fastest 50 era in NBA history. Watch the VIDEO with his best moments.
Sixers coach Doc Rivers called him “incredible”. Joel Ebid – oddly for himself – is modest and said he was fed just right by his team-mates. Either way, the Cameroonian center was magic in the Sixers’ win over the Magic (123-110), stopping at 50 points and matching his career record.
Ebid had 50 points with 16/19 two points, 1/4 three points, 15/17 shots, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 3 steals in 27 minutes and 3 seconds of participation and scoring how and whenever he wanted. It was the second-fastest 50ara in NBA history since the 24-second timer was introduced. And he lost the all-time record for just…30 seconds. That remained in the hands of Clay Thompson, who scored 52 points (with 14/24 three points!) in 26 minutes and 33 seconds in a 149-124 Warriors win over the Bulls in Chicago on October 29, 2018.
