Yiannis: “Even with an ankle on the ground, it’s a win”

Giannis Antetokounbo explained in detail:

For what he thought when he played against a team that plays strong defense: “I was just trying to find the pitches that suit me. We’ve played a lot of minutes and we’re tired. Over time it becomes more difficult to make the moves you want against strong opponents. You have to play with the contact but keep going what you know

I think there is often a lot of contact. I don’t want to complain and play, but it doesn’t make it any easier when you’re tired of back-to-back games. “But you just have to play and be mentally strong to help your team.”

For Holiday tagging Jaren Jackson at the end of the game: “It’s important that he can get 5 positions, especially when we have other players on the floor who can play with changes in defense. The Grizzlies have one of the most explosive players in the NBA, Morand. “It’s important that we have Trou who can tag anyone.”

About how he’ll feel when Holiday’s back: “It’s incredible. I’m glad he’s back and finding his rhythm. It will help us on both sides of the parquet. I’m happy because he’s one of our leaders“.

For the value of Holliday’s return: “Even with… an ankle, vacationing on the floor is a win. Or even for two minutes. Obviously having it on the ground at the end of the season is crucial because he can make some decisions in place of me and Middleton. But he also helps us a lot defensively because he marks one of the opponent’s best players while also getting rebounds“.

On how it feels when Brooke Lopez starts working out: “He’s good looking. But he’s always with us. He comes to the races. He plays with his dinosaur, he reads his book, he jokes, he rides his bike in training. I don’t know how close he is to returning stands.” but he looks better“.

About distinguishing Brooke from Robin Lopez who are twins: “I can tell them apart, not just because I’ve played with them. My partner Maria grew up with them. Those who know her say Brooke Lopez is the cutie. Whenever I see her, I just see who’s prettier and I know it’s Brooke (laughs). I’m just having fun. It has to be shaved anyway.”

For the performance of George Hill: “If you play hard, the gods of basketball will reward you and the ball will find you. If you take a shot, you get a rebound. Better always play with energy. If you play with energy you will always be rewarded in some way.”.

For Yes Morand: “I really like it. I’ve loved it since it came into the league. He’s an incredible player, he’s playing well and improving every year. Involves your fellow players in the game, creates a culture in Memphis. His and the Grizzlies’ future is bright. He is one of the best point guards in the NBA“.

Antetokounmpo says how much time he could miss due to injury

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo He injured his right calf in the match against the Denver Nuggets, resulting in his team’s defeat with a score of 100:102.

With about 40 seconds left in the game, during a quick attack, Janis suddenly stopped and caught his lower right leg. He quickly left the field and went to the locker room and returned to the bench seconds before the end of the game.

After the match, Janis confirmed that he felt pain throughout the match and had to stop:

“It doesn’t matter when I felt it. It doesn’t matter. I couldn’t finish the match. I felt it for most of the game, but I didn’t want to stop. Finally, I couldn’t move anymore and had to stop. Throughout the game, the pain got worse and worse as I played.”

Antetokounmpo estimated he would be out for four to six weeks.

“The next step will probably be an MRI tomorrow. After the MRI, they’ll probably tell me that I’ve torn something in my calf or shoulder. I’ll probably be given a protocol where I won’t play for 4 to 6 weeks.”

I will try to come back from now on with my experience in the NBA. This will probably be late February – early March. Hopefully the team will be in a position where we can at least go to the play-ins or play-offs and we will work every day and try to get better,” Janis added.

Janis finished the game with 22 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists.

Antetokounmpo has missed eight games this season due to a calf injury and looks set to face a similar injury this time around.

Giannis, who missed a total of 16 games this season due to his injury, averaged 28.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.

Len talked about the difference between playing in the NBA and the Spanish Championship

Real Madrid’s Ukrainian headquarters Alexey Len He talked about the main differences between playing in the NBA and playing in the Spanish Championship:

“I had some difficulties when I first arrived and I still have some catching up to do in the Euroleague. But the season is long, I work on myself every day, I try to play better every day and I try to help the team win more games.”

When I came here I realized this; I really like ACB matches because each team plays in its own style. There are teams that work hard in the post, while others shoot too many threes. In the NBA, everything is essentially about pick-and-rolls and three-point shots. And in ACB you never know who you will face and in what style this or that team will play. This difference makes the matches fun to watch and play. You should always be prepared because a completely different game style may be waiting for you. That’s why it’s so beautiful.”

Len, who played 17 matches for Real Madrid this season, played an average of 8.6 minutes on the field and recorded 3.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.9 blocks during this time.

Len previously said whether he follows the performances of the Ukrainian national team and whether there is a chance of returning to the national team.
