Problem with gomber in jazz, injured left calf
The Jazz were concerned after Rudy Gomber suffered a left calf injury in the game against the Warriors, so it’s not known if he will be out or how long.
Losing to the Warriors (94-92) was the least of the Jazz’s problems as during the game they saw Rudy Gomber injure his left calf and left the team, meaning he will be out of the team’s next few games could.
The French center felt a “tightness” in his left calf, first estimates speak of a pull. However, he admitted after the game that he felt a severe pain that he hadn’t felt before, so he wanted to be as careful as possible.
Gomber’s injury comes at a very bad time for the Jazz, who have also been unavailable for a week for Donovan Mitchell, who is still on the concussion record, while also boasting 7 losses in their last 9 games.
This season, Gomber has averaged 16 points, 15.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 2.3 steals in 33 minutes of attendance.
