NBA
Carrie is… deformed
Jordan Poole was the top winner with 20 points, while Andrew Wiggins added 14 points and Steph Curry (more on that in a moment) stayed on 13 points with 5/20 shots (1/13 three points). For the jazz, Bojan Bogdanovic had 21 points and Rudy Gay had 16 points.
The Appearance of the Night
Jason Tatum had…forgotten the feel of a well-aimed three-pointer, going 0/17 in the Celtics’ last 3 games and missing 20 in a row. He remembered that (and more) against the Wizards, finishing the game on 51 points with 9/14 three points, 9/14 two points, 6/6 shots, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in 33 minutes of play, leading the Celtics to victory with 116-87 in Washington.
Tatum went through a small period of competitive abdomen that all goalscorers survive at times. And like any great goalscorer, he came together in the most emphatic way.
what about carrie
Steph Curry is going through a period of deformation. Anyone who hasn’t taken this lightly before must have understood it in the Warriors’ game against the Jazz, where they stayed on 13 points with 1/13 threes (5/20 shots overall). What’s really going on with Carrie?
Since his space launch, he has averaged 20.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 7 assists with 35.1% on shots and 27.6% on threes in his last 10 games, he has been under 20 points 6 times, one under 10 and has broken the 30-point barrier only once (against the Rockets when he also scored the winning buzzer-beater).
Curry has a total of 29/105 threes during that period, in the worst deformation of his career, showing he doesn’t have the energy required, losing a shot he’s not normally used to, turning and returning to the Defense before the ball lands in the basket. Does it all tie into his minor injury to his right hand (which he shoots) from a Jan. 14 game against the Bulls that left him one game out?
If there’s one thing Carrie has shown, it takes just a spark to start a fire. Tatum, for example, is still young, so people don’t think that gifted scorers and shooters can go back to their known standards from time to time. In any case, it makes sense to worry.
Doncic and the Mavericks rise
The Mavericks have been on the rise for a long time while they’re glad Luka Doncic is starting to remember it. Both proved in the game against the Grizzlies, who easily defeated the Mavs with 37 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists 104-91 with 37 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists for their 11th win in the last 13 games. Their only losses during this period came from the Knicks in New York (where they had no Porzingis) and from the Suns in Dallas.
Doncic is looking better now, although he’s still struggling to score from behind the three-point line (only 29.1% this year). In the Mavs’ last 5 games, he’s averaged 29.8 points, 10.6 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 38 minutes of attendance while also leading 11.6 shots per game (at an 82 .8%) off, a sign that he’s pushing better now. Dallas and Doncic go up.
The heat is silent at the tip of the east
Miami faced several problems this year. He endured watching Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler lose games. He doesn’t currently have Kyle Lowry and Tyler Hiro. And yet, after beating the Lakers (without Anthony Davis) 113-107, he’s now leading the East with a 30-17 record, a reminder that he should be considered a title contender.
The battle for the top of the east is truly shocking. The 1st heat is just two wins away from the 4th Bucks (30-19), while below them are the Nets (29-17) and the Bulls (28-17). A small streak of wins or losses can change everything. Either way, the heat certainly sent its own message.
The Bulls face a major challenge
As the Heat celebrate by looking back at Adebayo and Butler and waiting for Laurie and Hiro, the Bulls continue to lose players. After Alex Caruso’s injury from Grayson Allen’s unsportsmanlike foul, Chicago has none of its top three guards (DeRozan is now considered a forward), with Jacques Lavigne and Lonzo Ball also long out. Patrick Williams (for the season) and Derrick Jones (for at least a few weeks) are also out at the same time.
Chicago is in an extremely difficult situation, as illustrated by the loss in Orlando to the Magic (114-95), the team with the worst record in the NBA. Coby White has the talent to take on some of the weight DeRozan and Vucevic have to carry up front, and rookie Agios Dosumnou has shown he has perspective. The Bulls face a difficult two months with Bol and Caruso likely to be absent, while it’s still unknown when Lavigne will return. Will they pass?
Ebid is relentless
After the accident, losing at home to the Clippers – in which they lost a deficit of 24 points – the Sixers responded to San Antonio and defeated the Spurs 109-115. In the middle – as usual – was Joel Ebid, who finished the game with 38 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and carried his team further.
In the Sixers’ last 5 games, Ebid has numbers… Wilt Chamberlain after averaging 38.4 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 32 minutes of attendance. He was in talks about the MVP. If the Sixers finish in the top three in the East – which is not unlikely given their form and the Bulls’ problems – they could be closer to winning the title than you think.
The nets play the torero defense
In bullfights, the bullfighter tries to avoid the bull, with people shouting “Anything!” whenever this happens. Watching a Nets game probably gives you the same urge to yell “everything” at every Brooklyn defense. Last team whose players started screaming “We had a nice, nice, nice, we also had a nice tonight” were the Wolves, who beat the Nets in Minnesota 136-125.
The Nets remain second in the hard-fought East, but they’re not convincing: they’ve conceded less than 100 points since beating the Mavericks 102-99 on December 7th. In 15 of the 22 games that followed, they conceded at least 110 points, resulting in a 12-10 record over that period.
Still one of the contenders for the title, Brooklyn let Irving have a… part-time player. However, with a defense like this, it’s difficult to have really high ambitions.
Jokic carries the nuggets
Nichols Jokic… had another day of work against the Pistons, leading the Nuggets to a 117-111 win and finishing the game with 34 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. The news; He hasn’t made a triple-double after four in a row. That this is news shows a lot about the level the Serb is playing this year.
In the Nuggets’ last 5 games, Jokic has 30.2 points, 12.2 rebounds, 11.4 assists and 2 steals averaging 40.9% on three-pointers in 36.5 minutes of attendance. With Carrie on the ground, talk of the MVP erupts. And the Serb’s name has long been one of Ebid’s, Giannis Antetokunbo.
Jalen Sags is ready to explode
Jalen Saggs has long seen injury sideline him, which – especially for a rookie guard – is enough to win him back. However, the No. 5 NBA draft pick is back and doing more than well, averaging 14.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.3 steals in the 6 games he played. But there are two phases he has offered to the world that show he is doing very well now.
In the game against the Bulls, Sags found space and… threw, not once, but twice. In what way;
He first made a poster of DeMar DeRozan
He then stole the ball and offered to nail it to the basket with a 360-degree spin.
Before the season started, Sangs had ambitions for the Rookie award of the year. It’s not certain if he’ll manage to strike up a conversation. But he definitely manages to make an impression.

Antetokounmpo says how much time he could miss due to injury
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo He injured his right calf in the match against the Denver Nuggets, resulting in his team’s defeat with a score of 100:102.
With about 40 seconds left in the game, during a quick attack, Janis suddenly stopped and caught his lower right leg. He quickly left the field and went to the locker room and returned to the bench seconds before the end of the game.
After the match, Janis confirmed that he felt pain throughout the match and had to stop:
“It doesn’t matter when I felt it. It doesn’t matter. I couldn’t finish the match. I felt it for most of the game, but I didn’t want to stop. Finally, I couldn’t move anymore and had to stop. Throughout the game, the pain got worse and worse as I played.”
Antetokounmpo estimated he would be out for four to six weeks.
“The next step will probably be an MRI tomorrow. After the MRI, they’ll probably tell me that I’ve torn something in my calf or shoulder. I’ll probably be given a protocol where I won’t play for 4 to 6 weeks.”
I will try to come back from now on with my experience in the NBA. This will probably be late February – early March. Hopefully the team will be in a position where we can at least go to the play-ins or play-offs and we will work every day and try to get better,” Janis added.
Janis finished the game with 22 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists.
Antetokounmpo has missed eight games this season due to a calf injury and looks set to face a similar injury this time around.
Giannis, who missed a total of 16 games this season due to his injury, averaged 28.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.

Len talked about the difference between playing in the NBA and the Spanish Championship
Real Madrid’s Ukrainian headquarters Alexey Len He talked about the main differences between playing in the NBA and playing in the Spanish Championship:
“I had some difficulties when I first arrived and I still have some catching up to do in the Euroleague. But the season is long, I work on myself every day, I try to play better every day and I try to help the team win more games.”
When I came here I realized this; I really like ACB matches because each team plays in its own style. There are teams that work hard in the post, while others shoot too many threes. In the NBA, everything is essentially about pick-and-rolls and three-point shots. And in ACB you never know who you will face and in what style this or that team will play. This difference makes the matches fun to watch and play. You should always be prepared because a completely different game style may be waiting for you. That’s why it’s so beautiful.”
Len, who played 17 matches for Real Madrid this season, played an average of 8.6 minutes on the field and recorded 3.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.9 blocks during this time.
Len previously said whether he follows the performances of the Ukrainian national team and whether there is a chance of returning to the national team.
