Coming back to Joe Harris’ recovery, it’s unknown when he will return
Joe Harris’ recovery from his ankle is not going as well as the Nets expected, leaving the veteran marksman with no clear plan for his return.
Joe Harris hoped to be back in action by the end of January. In the end, however, he appears to have to be patient as Nets coach Steve Nas said there was a setback in the veteran shooter’s recovery from ankle surgery.
Harris last played on November 15, while he has been officially relieved of Nets obligations since November 30, when it was announced he would be undergoing surgery. The first update spoke of a two-month absence from the floor. However, this is no longer the case
“He had a setback. “I’m reluctant to say more because I’m not a doctor, but he’s certainly had some issues and is still recovering, but he’s not ready and I don’t know when he will be.” said Nas characteristically.
This season, Harris has averaged 11.3 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist with 46.6% on three-pointers in 30-minute participation and is considered the Nets’ top shooter.
