The Sixers misspelled the name Julius Irving
Incredible mistake by the Sixers, who mistyped the name of Julius Irving, the man who made history with the Philadelphia team jersey.
There aren’t many players who have associated their names with an organization like Julius Irving did with the Sixers. And yet an incredible mistake was made in Philadelphia during the game against the Los Angeles Lakers that doesn’t honor the organization, which Dr. J served from 1976 to 1987.
In the stadium matrix, the legendary striker was referred to as Julius Irving, the picture made the rounds on the Internet and provoked a large number of comments, of course, negative for the Sixers. In his career and in a total of 1,243 regular-time games, Erving had 24.2 points (51% on two points, 77.7% on shots), 8.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2 steals and 1.7 blocks per 36.4 minutes.
