The hilarious VIDEO on the Warriors’ new look: Chris Mullin thought he was coming back
Back in the past (and) for the Champion Warriors, whose classic take on the new kit harks back to the time-honored ’90s and Run TMC era. Chris Mullin stars in the inspirational VIDEO.
It is a fact that the Warriors and the offering they have brought to the NBA over the past decade have radically changed basketball. Combined with the harmonious coexistence of great players / strong personalities, they have managed to leave an indelible mark in sports history not only thanks to the four championships (2015, 2017, 2018, 2022), but also in the overall view of things.
It’s not the first time it’s happened. Everything they’ve accomplished looks like a worthy continuation of what “Run TMC” stood for. Or the full offensive basketball the Warriors played in the late ’80s-early ’90s when Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin were brought together in Oakland under the tutelage of coach Don Nelson.
The classic version of the new look for the 2022-23 season is an ode to this most entertaining time in Warriors history. A matte blue with small yellow details on the seams and lettering. Nothing else that disturbs the canvas and attracts the eye without meaning.
The collection launch VIDEO was just what the product needed to gain (neutral) fans. Chris Mullin was notified that the team would turn back time and turn back the clock, believing he was going to kick the floor himself. The result, especially the ending, is hilarious.
