The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) drew the quarterfinal matchups of the Copa do Brasil on Tuesday morning, in an event held at its headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
The quarterfinals pit Internacional against Gremio, Cruzeiro against Atletico-MG, Vasco against Vitoria, and Palmeiras against Santos. The club listed first in each pairing hosts the first leg.
Path to the final
The draw also set the semifinal bracket. The winner of Gremio against Internacional will face whoever advances from Atletico-MG against Cruzeiro. The other semifinal will pair the winners of Vasco against Vitoria and Palmeiras against Santos.
The quarterfinals are scheduled for the weeks of August 26 and September 3.
