Oleksandr GVOZDIK: “I am seriously preparing for my transformation”
Former WBC World Light Heavyweight Champion Alexander Gvozdyk (17-1, 14 KOs) said he plans to return to the ring.
“I don’t like to talk when there is no 100 percent information. Yes, there are such intentions. I’m getting ready. I am preparing seriously, but I cannot say that I will fight at the end of October. I do not make such statements or announcements.
I can only say that there are such plans, because a lot of free time has appeared since February of this year. “He had plans to do something in Ukraine, but now the situation has changed, so he has the intention to return to boxing,” he said.
Recall that Gvozdyk announced his retirement in June 2020 at the age of 33. Reputable organizer Bob Arum has promised to give him a title fight if he returns.
