Erik Bazinyan will face Reinaldo Paniagua in the final of an Eye of the Tiger Management gala presented on March 3 at the Cabaret du Casino de Montreal, the promoter announced on Friday.

The Montrealer of Armenian origin will put his NABF super-middleweight belt at stake after his last victory against Scott Sigmon last June in Mexico.

In the semi-finals, Steve Butler will fight his first fight since being stopped by Jose de Jesus Macias in January 2021, also in Mexico. He will only measure up to Hector Manuel Zepeda.

In addition to Bazinyan (26-0, 20 KOs) and Butler (28-3-1, 24 KOs), Christopher Guerrero, Hamza Khabbaz, Martine Vallières-Bisson and Jean-Gardy François will also be from the menu.

Paniagua (17-1, 16 KOs) has recorded 16 of his 17 wins before the limit, but you can count on the fingers of one hand the number of opponents with a winning record he has faced. Zepeda (20-3, 6 KOs) has already crossed swords with Sebastian Fundora and Carlos Molina.
