The coach of the Akhmat mixed martial arts club, Murad Bichuev, said that he was surprised by the tactics of the Swedish fighter of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaev in the duel with the American Kevin Holland.

The fight at the tournament in Las Vegas ended with Chimaev’s victory in the first round. Chimaev was originally scheduled to face fellow US representative Nate Diaz, but was pulled out of the bout after failing to make the weight cut.

— Of course, Holland could not be written off. This is a very good fighter. When Chimaev went on the attack without reconnaissance, he was very surprised, knowing the level of his opponent in shock technique. But Khamzat is so confident in himself that he can allow this, Bichuev told RT.

Chimaev has 12 victories in 12 fights in mixed martial arts. Holland suffered the eighth loss of his career with 23 wins.
