“No one will worry.” Six-time world champion in combat sambo – about Ukraine’s refusal to participate in the European Championship

Six-time world champion in combat sambo and MMA fighter Vyacheslav Vasilevsky urged fans not to worry about missing the Ukrainian national sambo team at the European Championship.
Earlier, the Sambo Federation of Ukraine issued a statement stating that the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in the tournament is unacceptable for it, therefore they refuse to participate in the competition.
– It doesn’t matter at all. They refused and refused. Who did they hurt? Sport has always been out of politics, and due to the absence of the Ukrainian national team at the European Championships, no one will be particularly worried, Vasilevsky told MMA.Metaratings.ru.
34-year-old Vasilevsky in MMA won 36 fights and lost nine.
The European SAMBO Championships will take place on September 14–19 in Serbia. Earlier, the International Sambo Federation (FIAS) admitted the Russian Federation and Belarus, subject to the participation of athletes in a neutral status.
