Eddie HERN: Usyk made good money during our collaboration

Head of promotional company Matchroom Boxing Eddie Hearn WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champions have stated that they are not opposed to re-signing with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs).

“I think we did a great job then. I can’t remember how many fights we had together seven or six times, but he made good money back then.

I think if the Saudis agree on a fight for the absolute title, they will organize their next fight. They checked all the rights to fight Joshua. If they do it again, it will be difficult for any of the organizers to do anything other than represent the boxer.

So Usyk is in a very good position right now. Alexander Krasyuk, Egis Klimas – a great team that surrounds him. Now Alexander needs to rest, be with his family, and then we’ll see what happens,” Hearn said.

Note that Eddie Hearn has been a co-supporter of Usyk since 2018. Cooperation was completed after the second fight with Joshua, which was won by the Ukrainian.
