Alvarez undergoes surgery on his hand after the fight with Golovkin

Mexican boxer Saul Alvarez, after defeating Kazakhstani Gennady Golovkin, announced that he would need surgery on his left hand.
“You know, I left everything in the ring. I have problems with my left hand, I need an operation. However, I am a warrior, which is why I am here. Now I will continue to move forward and expand my legacy,” Alvarez said. Matchroom Boxing.
Alvarez on Sunday night in Las Vegas defeated Golovkin by unanimous decision, defending the WBO, IBF, WBA and WBC super middleweight titles.
