It became known how much Alvarez and Golovkin earned for the third fight
A boxing night has come to an end in Las Vegas from promotional company Matchroom Boxing, whose main event is the title fight between Mexico’s Saul Alvarez and Kazakhstan’s Gennady Golovkin.
The undisputed middleweight title was at stake. The judges unanimously awarded the victory to Canelo (116-112, 115-113, 115-1113), who put a spectacular end to the championship trilogy.
According to the source, Canelo earned $45 million while Golovkin earned $20 million.
Recall that the first fight between boxers took place in September 2017 and ended in a draw. In the second game in 2018, Alvarez scored points.
It is worth noting that Alvarez received $ 5 million for the first and second fights. Golovkin earned 3 and 4 million, respectively, from previous fights with Canelo.
