Wilder manager: ‘We don’t care about Usyk fight’
Shelley Finkel, 78, representing the interests of American Deontay Wilder, made an assessment of the possibility of a fight between her client and Oleksandr Usyk, the winner of the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight championship belts.
“We got the news the other day that Usyk will fight Wilder if he fights Joshua Fury. Yes, we are open to that, not against it.
And if we can’t agree, there are Ruiz and a few more options. But I think we’ll keep talking to him until Fury fights Joshua. [менеджер Джошуа] Listen after Deontay’s duel with Helenius. Anything can happen,” Finkel said.
Oleksandr Usyk, as we recall, won a rematch against Anthony Joshua in August and confirmed his champion strengths. The Ukrainian, as you know, defeated the British by a split decision.
It was previously reported that Usyk could participate in the fight between Wilder and Robert Helenius, which will take place on October 8 in Brooklyn (USA).
