Organizer Fury: I see no reason why Joshua should not sign
The reigning promoter of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) Frank Warren He talked about how negotiations are progressing to tackle Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs).
“The contract has not been signed yet. We are waiting for them to answer us. But I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t be signed. The main issue of the negotiations was the distribution of wages. We agreed it would be 60 to 40. We agreed 50 to 50 for the rematch option. The biggest question was when to fight. It will be December.
To put everyone at ease, we said that Joshua’s team can be involved in all contracts with broadcasters and sponsors so they can see everything clearly. In this sense, we have removed all their fears.
You don’t have to worry about royalties as it will be paid directly by reputable television companies, so everything is clear here. Since we haven’t signed a contract yet, the publishers haven’t come together, but I don’t see a problem with that. How can publishers intervene in this fight?” said Warren.
