Russian MMA fighter Vladimir Mineev spoke on the air of the program “There is a theme!” on “Match TV” about the mother’s emotional reaction to the summons from the military registration and enlistment office, which he received in September.
– My military specialty is a shooter. I also served in the army under a contract – in the Airborne Forces. There is no experience of the SVO, but nevertheless the agenda came.
How did the relatives react to my summons? Well, my mother cried, of course. It seems to me that on this day, women all over the country were crying. Tears won’t help. My mother raised the man. She knows that in this situation it is useless to say anything. I’m not rushing there, but I’m not giving up on anything either. Men must remain men. And women should understand that they are raising men,” Mineev said.
Mineev is 32 years old. In his last fight under MMA rules (October 16, 2021), he defended the AMC Fight Nights championship belt by defeating Magomed Ismailov (17-3 in MMA) by TKO in the third round.
