british boxer Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs) compared the styles of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) to WBA, WBO and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs).

“Both are top notch. Both have strengths and weaknesses. They’re different fighters, so both of these challenges are a tough one.

Tyson Fury is taller, knows how to rebuild during combat, is long-range and very technical. Mustache smaller, left-handed. You know what a technically good boxer he is. I think Fury can hit harder than Usyk.

Mustache – faster. He throws punches very fast, but Fury is also fast and can throw combos. They’re both very tough fighters,” Joyce said.

Note that Joe Joyce and Oleksandr Usyk fought in the World Boxing Series in 2013. Won by unanimous decision of Ukrainian judges.

On September 24 in Manchester, Joe Joyce knocked out former New Zealand world champion Joseph Parker (30-3, 21 KOs) and became a contender for the WBO title held by Usyk.
