About 50 employees of the Boxing Federation of Russia received summons to the military registration and enlistment office, said the secretary general of the organization Tatyana Kiriyenko.

But there are also coaches, judges, federation employees who have received summons, who do not take time off! Everyone went where they needed to go with honor and dignity. We must show by our personal example that we do not just say that boxers are the defenders of the fatherland. I personally say this and I answer for every word I say. We will never dishonor our honor. The motherland called, and we did everything that was necessary. But we simply do not advertise this – we do a lot, help and, one might say, save lives.

– Is there any data on the number of summonses received by boxers and other persons in the Russian Boxing Federation?

– Speaking throughout the country, there are already about 50 agendas. Here we are talking about personal trainers, judges. Even those who provide refereeing here (at the Russian Championship in Chita – ed.) received a second summons. We wrote a letter to the draft board and explained why he was absent.
