“You little dwarf!” Fury publicly ridiculed Usyk after pulling out of fight

The gypsy king could not forgive the Ukrainian for the failure of the duel for the title of absolute champion.

The future of the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles is still in question. More recently, a possible duel between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk was discussed in the press, but the Ukrainian, who challenged the Briton, unexpectedly refused the fight.

After that, the Gypsy King not only instantly found himself a new opponent, but also began to mock the Ukrainian boxer. No one has ever dealt with Usyk like that!

“Either I will fight Tyson or I will not fight at all”

Tyson Fury is famous for his outrageous antics both in and out of the ring. Only the Gypsy King could afford to voluntarily give up the belts, and then come back and become a champion again. After defending the title against Dillian Whyte in April of this year, Fury once again spoke about the end of his career and even convincingly portrayed a retiree. But this time, the fans did not have to wait long for the boxer to return.

Even before the August fight between Usyk and Joshua, there was talk that Fury could return to boxing to fight for the title of undisputed heavyweight champion. After Alexander defeated Anthony, the Gypsy King’s team began negotiations with the Ukrainian athlete. Soon, Usyk publicly announced his desire to fight Fury, and it seemed that the fight between the two superstars would take place almost inevitably …

“I’m sure Tyson hasn’t left yet, I’m sure he wants to fight me. And I want to fight Fury. Either I will fight Tyson, or I won’t fight at all,” Usyk said.

It was even said that if the fight fell through, Alexander would be ready to return to the first heavyweight in order to regain the titles. It did not take long for a response from the British side.

– Get out your checkbook. The Gypsy King is here to stay forever,” Fury replied to the Ukrainian.

But negotiations between the parties did not last long. The Ukrainian unexpectedly said that he was not ready to fight another fight in 2022, citing an injury. His team pushed for early 2023, but Fury didn’t want to wait long. He decided to defend his WBC belt against Anthony Joshua, which looks more attractive from the point of view of the financial component. The British quickly negotiated terms and fixed the battle for 3 December.

Tough trolling ended in “retribution”

But Fury would not be Fury if he refused to ridicule the Ukrainian boxer. Recently, on his social networks, the Gypsy King posted a video where he conducts comic sparring in the ring with a baby. At the same time, he decided to harshly pin up Usyk, who refused to fight. In the video, Tyson dodged the “attacks” of a small child running after him, and teased him:

– Come on, Usyk! Look at Mustache! Come on Usyk! You are a little dwarf! Fury shouted with a smile.

Thus, apparently, Tyson ridiculed the huge difference in the dimensions of the two boxers. Against the background of the Briton, Alexander really looks like a “baby”. The height of the athletes differs by 15 cm, and the span of the arms – by 18 cm. Yes, and they have a big difference in weight.

But revenge from the “little Mustache” was not long in coming. When Tyson Fury began to pose for the camera, the kid ran up to the boxer from behind and delivered a “smashing” blow to his back, while grabbing the shorts of the Gypsy King. Now it remains to be seen how the Ukrainian fighter himself will respond to the Briton’s jokes – in social networks or in the ring.

INOUE: “I’m tired. I had to prepare very hard for these 4 matches in a year.”

Japanese boxer after fight in Riyadh Naoya Inoue He shared his impressions of his victory over Mexican David Picasso (119–109, 120–108, 117–111):

“Honestly, I’m tired. The point wasn’t that I had four fights a year, it was that I had to prepare very hard for each of those four fights. When you’re in this process, you tolerate it because you only think about the fight, but now that it’s over, I see that I definitely gave it everything I had.”

“I don’t want to disrespect Picasso, but I wanted to show the difference between us a little more clearly and knock him out. I couldn’t meet the expectations and I couldn’t box the way I wanted. Nothing has been decided yet, but I would be happy to organize a fight that will excite the whole of Japan.”

Japanese Junto Nakatani He talked about his victory over Sebastian Hernandez (118-110, 115-113, 115-113):

“This fight was an experience for me. I moved up to this weight class to win a championship, so if I get that chance, I want to take it.”
