Tokyo Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling Zaurbek Sidakov commented on the possible removal of Dzambolat Tedeev from the post of head coach of the Russian freestyle wrestling team.
– I think Dzambolat Ilyich is supported not only by wrestlers from South and North Ossetia. You can see for yourself how he seconds us, and how he fights with the judges for us when we go out on the mat. In training, he rallied the whole team: we don’t have fights, conflicts. Everyone is like one family. All this is due to Dzambolat Ilyich.
He cares about every member of the team. Such people and coaches as Tedeev are born once in 100 years. Everyone saw how we performed in Tokyo and at the World Championships. We feel comfortable working with him. Athletes, when they see him, try even harder, – Metaratings.ru quotes Sidakov.
