Zelensky announces Usyk as ambassador for United24 platform
WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) Oleksandr Usyk became an ambassador for the United24 fundraising platform. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Oleksandr has been supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Now it will help support the “Restoration of Ukraine” direction. First of all, it will focus on the restoration of the Kyiv region, where it is already implementing infrastructure projects.
Oleksandr Usyk, the victorious symbol of Ukraine! Thank you for your support and joining the global initiative!” said Zelensky.
It should be noted that former football player Andriy Shevchenko and tennis player Elina Svitolina are United24 ambassadors. The platform was created to help Ukrainian defenders, civilians and transfer funds to restore the country.
