VIDEO. Usyk is the owner of a special WBC belt dedicated to Ukraine
Current WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF super heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) has received a special belt from the World Boxing Council.
The belt was gifted by the Ukrainian champion WBC President Mauricio Suleiman at a charity event organized by the Oleksandr Usyk Foundation in the USA.
“In 2018, the WBC held a convention in Kiev. We created this WBC generation because the Klitschko brothers were the heroes of the countries Lomachenko, Gvozdyk and Usyk.
This belt is for our beloved champion. He knows you as a hero of humanity. May God continue to help you stay so active. We wish you good luck, ”said Solomon, presenting the belt to Usyk.
